The EC Jags are excited to announce their official community partnership with the City of Albany, focused on building stronger connections and fostering collaboration within the community.
As part of this initiative, the Jags will work closely with Albany’s Parks and Recreation Department and other local organizations to create engaging programs that benefit residents of all ages. These efforts include expanding current offerings, developing youth sports camps, and supporting community partner programs to promote sports, wellness, and education throughout the city.
This partnership is about more than just basketball—it’s about creating opportunities for Albany’s residents to engage with initiatives that promote health, teamwork, and community spirit. From youth leagues and basketball clinics to outreach programs for underserved populations, the Willamette Valley Jaguars are committed to making a positive impact in Albany.
We extend a special thank you to Chris Reece, Mayor Alex Johnson, John Anderson, Peter Troedsson, Matthew Ruettgers, Mark Majeski, and Lisa Avery for their leadership and support. Their dedication has been instrumental in making this partnership a reality.
As the EC Jags, we look forward to growing with Albany, developing programs that benefit everyone, and creating lasting memories both on and off the court. Stay tuned for more exciting announcements about upcoming programs and opportunities to get involved!
