Ace’s journey in basketball began at just two years old, and his love for the game grew through years of club and AAU basketball, competing on a national stage. A standout at Willamette High School in Oregon, Ace proved to be a prolific shooter, earning recognition from Prephoops.com as a Top Shooter in the state for two consecutive years. He was also named a Southwest Conference Honorable Mention for two years running.
During his senior year, Ace shattered a 20-year-old school record for three-pointers in a season and tied the school record for three-pointers in a game on three occasions. He ranked among the state’s best, finishing third in three-pointers made per game and sixth in free-throw percentage. “My time in high school taught me the value of dedication and hard work,” Ace shared. “Now, I’m looking forward to helping the Jags succeed in any way I can.”
Currently attending the University of Oregon on a full academic scholarship, Ace has deep ties to the Willamette Valley community. Though born in Santa Rosa, California, he has called Eugene, Oregon, home since he was four.
Ace is passionate about giving back to the community and inspiring the next generation of players. Known for his leadership and positive attitude, he plans to work closely with local youth, sharing his knowledge both on and off the court. “I want to be a positive influence on the basketball community, showing kids the right way to approach life and the game. I’m especially excited to be part of the youth camps,” Ace said.
Owner Marion Clark praised Ace’s commitment and skill, noting his strong performance last season: “Ace played with us at the end of last season and showed he was ready to compete with the best. I’m hoping that with a full season ahead, he’ll continue to grow and make an impact.”
Ace’s determination to contribute to the team is evident, as he’s committed to doing whatever it takes to help the Jaguars achieve success this season. His consistency and work ethic make him a valuable asset to the team and an inspiration for fans and young players alike.
